On December 18, 2023, the TGA introduced new restrictions, including a ban on terms such as “anti-wrinkle injections” and “dermal fillers.” According to the TGA, using these terms could lead a “reasonable consumer” to interpret the content as promoting prescription medications.
On March 7, 2024, the TGA further refined its guidelines, introducing the following changes:
