Meet Jo Wilson
Nurse Practitioner Candidate
Jo Wilson is a registered nurse and nurse practitioner candidate working in the fields of dermatology and advanced cosmetic medicine. She is our head registered nurse at Hamilton Skin Clinic.
Graduating from the Queensland University of Technology, Jo brings 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse to the role. Jo has a Masters degree in Advanced Practice Nursing and 8 years of specialty experience in cosmetic and dermatological treatments. Jo also offers private mentoring for Doctors and Nurses wishing to enter this specialised field.
After growing up on a cattle station in the Queensland outback, Jo was drawn to the field of skin cancer medicine, particularly melanoma, after witnessing the devastating effects of melanoma on her community, which fueled her interest in early detection and intervention strategies. She regularly attends both Australian and international education conferences with world-renowned practitioners in the dermatology, cosmetic medicine, and skincare industries.
Jo treats your skincare from a ‘functional health’ perspective. Combining her medical experience with a passion for delivering person-centered care for her patients, Jo is a highly sought after practitioner in Brisbane. Jo is supported by a highly experienced team of Doctors and Nurse Practitioners.

Dr Filip Vukasin
Dr Filip Vukasin graduated from Monash University in 2008. Prior to completing his General Practice training, he worked across various hospital networks in Melbourne & rural Victoria. He has also gained further experience by volunteer practice overseas.
Dr Filip has developed a keen interest in the Aesthetic Industry and has undergone further training as a Cosmetic Physician. Filip is passionate about cosmetic medicine and has come to appreciate the interplay between inner and outer health and beauty.
Dr Albert Ho
Dr Ho graduated from the University of WA in 1984 as a medical doctor and is now a well known leading Cosmetic Physician. He was the founder of the first National Cosmetic Group and is the Director of the many Renaissance clinic’s across Australia.
Dr Ho is also passionate about education and training. He provides clinical supervision and ongoing clinical support to many Doctor’s and Cosmetic Nurse Clinician’s in the Aesthetic Industry.
Dr Mo Jaggard
Dr Mo graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2006 with honors and has spent the last 10 years in the public sector working in various medical specialties.
Dr Mo embarked on a career in cosmetic medicine because she has a love of procedural skills; and a passion for anatomy, facial symmetry and for making her patients feel confident about themselves. She strives for natural, age-appropriate results for her patients and does so by structuring a step-by-step approach to achieving her patient’s goals.
Nurse Ruth Lavell, RN, MN, NP
Ruth Lavell (RN, NM, NP), is a Dermatology & Cosmetic Nurse Practioner. She has extensive pharmaceutical industry and skin care knowledge having developed a range of Nurse Practioner Skin Care. Ruth has been practicing cosmetic nursing experience for over 30 years. She is a highly qualified and experienced Nurse Practitioner having trained Doctors and Nurses in cosmetic injections and skin treatments.
She is available for cosmetic and dermatology consultations.
